Announcing our 23rd Annual Spring

In 2015 our spring Meet will continue to expand on our tradition of excellence. This year we are bringing in three well-known Santa Fe experts and modelers. Ken Silvestri from Broadway Limited will be giving a special presentation on the new BLI Modernized 2-10-2 which this organization assisted in the development of the new model. In addition to our regular white elephant sale tables and our auction, Train Control Systems will be returning to our meet and will demonstrate their new, revolutionary “WOW” diesel sound decoders as well as the latest innovations on their steam decoders.

Steve Sandifer will give his presentation: Santa Fe's E Units: a look at the various E passenger locomotives used by the Santa Fe, their evolution and assignments.

Ken Silvestri of Broadway Limited, Inc. will give a presentation on the development of their new modernized ATSF 2-10-2.

Stuart Forsyth will present “Cajon at War: Seven Days in May 1945.

Jared Harper We are pleased to welcome back the founder and  first editor of the Santa Fe Warbonnet.  Jared will be presenting a clinic on his modeling of his railroad the “Running Trains on the Alma branch, May, 1943”.

Bob Bucklew will be giving a presentation on JMRI Panel Pro and Layout Editor and controlling your layout from a tablet PC.

Ramon Rhodes will be giving a presentation on Santa Fe in Joliet during the 1960’s.

The Train Control Systems crew will be joining us once again to demonstrate their new “WOW” diesel sound decoders. They will also discuss upcoming changes to the WOW Steam Decoders. You will not want to miss hearing these incredible decoders!

Sunday: 10:00 AM The well received Sunday operating session on Don Borden’s (Improved for 2015) Cajon Pass Layout continues.  See how the redesigned east end on San Bernardino and the addition of the Devore sidings and bridge over Cajon Creek improves operation and access. Don will also be introducing the new Train Card and Engine Card control system operates.
